As Michael and Cindy, the company’s founders, like to say, Naked Bee products contain “All of the good stuff, none of the bad stuff.” What does that mean? Naked Bee products – lotions, lip balms, soaps, shower gels, hand sanitizers, shampoos, and more – are formulated with no parabens, no dyes or pigments, no propylene glycol or mineral oil, and no lauryl or laureth sulfate.
Instead, personal care products from the Naked Bee contain the good stuff: natural and organic ingredients in balance with other high-quality ingredients chosen based on their safety and performance. From organic olive oil, honey and beeswax lip balm to triple milled oatmeal soap with saponified beeswax and guar gum to shampoo and conditioner with honey and spirulina and more, the Naked Bee has an extensive line of natural skincare products with nourishing ingredients and addictive scents.
The History of The Naked Bee
The Naked Bee was founded by husband-and-wife team Cindy and Michael. In 1991, Cindy and Michael first started wholesaling candles and personal care products, and following that, built a successful aromatherapy product line. Things changed when Michael and Cindy introduced a line of custom products with unique blends all created by Michael. One of those blends (Orange Blossom Honey) was so popular with customers that Michael and Cindy knew they had created something special. In 2004, Cindy named the new business “The Naked Bee,” and the business has grown and thrived ever since.
Since its inception, the goal of The Naked Bee has been to make a high-quality, all-natural, unpretentious line of personal care products that would be affordable to everyone.
